A smile makeover can be an amazing way to transform a problematic, often embarrassing smile into a source of joy and pride. We use comprehensive treatment planning to assist you every step of the way. Dr. Fuller and his staff will explain in depth how a particular cosmetic procedure would change the appearance of your teeth. The services below all play an important part in creating a new look tailored specifically for you.
Dental veneers are a very thin material placed over and bonded with a tooth to improve the appearance. Made from porcelain or resin composite, veneers resist stains and give you that bright, even, movie-star smile. Resin veneers mimic the light-reflecting properties of natural teeth, while porcelain veneers resist stains better. To bond the tooth with the veneer, the tooth is prepared by scoring the front of the tooth and smoothing the body down so that the veneer will fit over it. Resin veneers are thinner than porcelain, however, and require less tooth preparation before placement. Patients always wonder how their favorite movie stars have such amazing smiles – the answer is usually Dental Veneers!
Dental crowns are both restorative and cosmetic. We use them to repair cracked and broken teeth, restore a tooth that has a large amount of decay, or repair a tooth that has a lot of wear due to bruxism (grinding of the teeth). At Dr. Fuller’s office, we offer same-day crowns. Patients love this technology because it means less waiting time and no embarrassing temporary crowns. Also known as chair-side or E4D crowns, these dental crowns are perfect for patients that have tight work schedules and need to be in and out of the office in a few hours.
At Dr. Fuller’s office, we use dental bonding to restore a damaged tooth or to make aesthetic changes that will improve the appearance of your smile. This cosmetic dentistry solution is affordable, durable, and long-lasting. It is also non-invasive, making it an ideal choice for children and adults who are too busy for alternative procedures like dental veneers. This procedure is accomplished in one visit to the dentist. Dental bonding has the advantage of no temporary teeth, no lab-fabrication at all. It’s a good choice for gaps between teeth, chips, cracks, staining, splotches from wearing braces, and uneven teeth. Ask Dr. Fuller if you or your child are good candidates for teeth bonding today.
Tooth whitening is a popular procedure to make teeth whiter and brighter. Teeth bleaching can be used to whiten stained and discolored teeth, or simply to enhance a dull smile. Either way, tooth whitening is a safe and relatively painless procedure ideal for most patients. One key fact to remember is that teeth whitening will only lighten natural teeth. A treatment plan for a smile makeover includes a comprehensive smile design including all the cosmetic options you desire.
Our office offers tray whitening with customized trays and teeth whitening gel. Tray whitening is a less expensive and more efficient treatment than 1-hour whitening systems. You can use the trays while in the comfort of your own home to gradually whiten teeth. First, we take an impression of your teeth to create a custom clear tray that you will wear during whitening. Within a few days, your trays will be ready to be picked up and we will show you how to apply the special bleaching gel to the trays.
The whitening trays should be worn 30-60 minutes each session. At the end of the pre-determined period, you will see maximum whitening results that are nothing short of dazzling. Occasional treatment can be used at your convenience to maintain your new smile.
